CREWS
FIND FIRE IN A TRACTOR TRAILER |

April
9, 2001 - This evening around 1845 hrs, Engine
1-2 and Engine 1 responded to 10034 Dumfries road
for a reported tractor trailer fire. On arrival,
Engine 1-2 found a 48' trailer with heavy smoke
showing. Crews forced their way into the trailer and
found several boxes and pallets on fire. The 200' 1
1/2 cross lay was extended into the trailer and the
fire was quickly extinguished. FM2 was called to the
scene and determined that the fire was caused by
careless smoking. Units went in service at 2005 hrs. |
