ENGINE 501 GOES ON A TRUCK FIRE IN THE COUNTY

July 12, 2004 - Prince William County requested Engine 501 to respond as the second engine for a truck fire on J.D. Redding Drive off Wellington Road. Engine 501 arrived on scene first to find a Peterbuilt semi-truck well involved in fire. Crews extended the trash line and knocked the fire down. A County Fire Marshall was requested and the Engine stood by for the investigation. The owner of the truck stated that his rig just over 1,000,000 miles on it.
