2005 - At about 0800 hrs this Saturday morning, just
as the crew was sitting down for breakfast, a citizen
came into the firehouse reporting a vehicle on fire on
Fairview Ave at Richmond Ave. As the Engine was pulling
out the door, Fire Communications gave the company the
run for a motorcycle on fire at the same location. The
Engine Company found the motorcycle well involved as
well as some fuel burning in the gutter. The crew
quickly extinguished the fire and used oil dry to
extinguish the burning fuel in the gutter. The Engine
went in service in about 20 min. |
