EARLY
MORNING PLAYGROUND FIRE |
|
July 31,
2004
- Engine 501 was dispatched for an outside fire on
Willow Glenn Court at about 1 am. As the Engine pulled
up on the scene, a bright glow of fire and a black
column of smoke greeted the crew. Upon further
investigation, a piece of playground equipment along
with chips of recycled tires were found on fire. A line
was stretched and the fire was quickly knocked down.
Things like this don't tend to catch on fire by
themselves, so the Fire Marshall was called to the
scene and his Office is investigating the cause. |
