FIRST DUE 2nd ALARM
COMMERCIAL BUILDING FIRE |

At 0347 hrs,
Company 1 Fire personnel were alerted to a reported
building fire in the 9200 block of Corporate Circle.
Engine, Tower and Chief 1, staffed completely by
volunteer firemen, responded initially and while
other volunteers came from home to the station and
responded with Engine 1-1 and Attack 1. Crews
arrived to find heavy fire showing through the roof
of 9273 and 9275. Numerous handlines along
with Engine 1's wagon pipe and Tower 1's ladder pipe
were placed in service. Brief interior attacks
were also mounted in an effort to contain the fire.
A second alarm was requested by command however, the
bulk of the fire was knocked down quickly. Chief 1
(Lesnick) had command. |
