DISCO BURGLAR ALARM BRINGS A FULL ASSIGNMENT |
|
August 25, 2007
–
At 1219 hours, mutual
box 89-01 was transmitted for a building fire at
8492 Centreville Road, bringing Wagon 501 as the
second due engine company. They arrived right behind
Wagon 509 and both crews found heavy smoke inside
the store. It was quickly realized that there was no
fire but instead, the smoke or fog, was the result
of some kind of insane burglar alarm. Apparently,
when the alarm is activated, a fog machine kicks on
to scare the evil robbers away. All that was missing
was some trance music and some glow sticks, and
luckily neither could be found. Crews vented the
smoke and the Wagon went ready at 1253 hours. |
