HAZMAT UNIT STARTS THE DAY WITH A RIDING MOWER IN A POND

August 28, 2007 – At 1013 hours this morning, a Hazmat local was sounded for 10227 Foxborough Court. Hazmat 501 responded to find a riding mower that had flipped into a drainage pond. Crews put down absorbent pads and created a boom to contain the fuel spill. They went ready at 1051 hours.
