SMALL
FIRST DUE KITCHEN FIRE |
|
January 26
2007
- At 1115 hours today, as the crews were arguing over
what to do for lunch, City Fire Communications
transmitted box 81-01 for fire in the home at 8216 Warfield Street.
Chief 501 arrived and reported a two story, detached
home with smoke showing. The Engine and Tower
arrived quickly behind the Chief and located a fire
in the kitchen. The fire quickly knocked down before
the arrival of any other companies. The
conflagration apparently was started by a defective
microwave and swiftly involved the cabinets. Company
1 fire units cleared the scene within 45 minutes. |
