FATAL
CRASH: TWO TRAPPED AND ONE EJECTED IN THE FIRST DUE |

At 0209 hours, Wagon,
Tower, and Chief 501 were alerted to a personal
injury accident with a person trapped in the area of
Quarry Road and Liberia Avenue. They arrived to find
a single pickup truck into telephone pole with one ejected
and two trapped. Tower and Rescue 501 immediately
began extrication while other crews attended to the
victim who was ejected. Wagon 509 set up an LZ and
landed two helicopters. The third patient was
transported by ground. All were ALS transports. The
victim who was ejected was pronounced dead at the
hospital. Chief 501 had the command. Units cleared
the scene at 0330 hours. |
