MEMBERS PARTICIPATE IN TRAINING BURN

March 19, 2005 - Today members from the Manassas Volunteer Fire Company participated in live fire training at the Prince William County Training School. The main focus of the drill was standpipe operations. Crews took part in a number of different scenarios, each having a number of separate challenges. Some dealt with blocked access, out of service standpipes, burst lines, trapped victims, fire on multiple floors and water supply problems. Friends and family were invited to watch the drills and lunch was provided by the Ladies Auxiliary. The MVFC would also like to thank Yorkshire Company 8 for providing an engine company to cover the City during the drill.
