WAGON
HEADS BACK OUT TO THE AIRPORT FOR A PLANE CRASH |
|
March 18, 2008
– At 1245 hours today, another alert 1 was
transmitted for a plane crash at the Manassas
Regional Airport. Wagon 501 arrived to find a plane
on its belly, on the runway, with both occupants
already out. Apparently high winds caused a sort of
rough landing during which, one of the planes
landing gear collapsed. The Wagon's crew used oil
dry to contain a small fuel leak and remained on
scene until the arrival of the FAA. They went ready
at 1445 hours. |
