COME RIDE ALONG WITH THE MANASSAS VOLUNTEER FIRE COMPANY

The Manassas Volunteer Fire Company runs various fire and emergency medical related calls everyday. Civilians interested in seeing firsthand what we do on a daily basis to help the community, and experiencing what it is like to be a firefighter, are welcome to ride with us. We look forward to having the opportunity to educate the community about the responsibilities of the Manassas Volunteer Fire Company and what to expect if they ever have a need to call for fire department assistance.

We also welcome firefighters from other jurisdictions to ride along and physically participate in fire company operations. Whether you are just passing through the area, planning a trip to come check us out, or are thinking of joining the Company, we would enjoy having you ride along. We invite you to partake in all events and activities, spend the night, and hopefully gain some additional experience.

RIDE ALONG REQUIREMENTS

-Participants must be 18 or older.

-Civilians may only ride as observers.

-Firefighters wishing to participate must provide a copy of their current certifications.

-A minimum of Firefighter 1 is required.

-Firefighters wishing to participate must provide their own PPE.
